Compared to the first game, this came as something almost completely different in experience although it only built on the former. Since its release, this has remained the most successful game in the franchise with a great storyline and a true sense of adventure. While most people would agree to the limitations of the game, there is no denying the potential the game had, and it was this that it fed to the remaining games that came in the series. The game relied on a very interesting storyline that drew gamers back to the medieval times as well as the simplicity that came with the game.
However, the game still managed to be in a class of its own, coming as almost different from most other games before it.
The first game in the series, this is not necessarily the most popular and if it were to be released today, it may not be as popular as it was in 2007 because of the too much repetition it came with which made it somewhat very boring. Platforms: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows
